Investors to establish drivers license school at Nzema East



The Nzema East Municipal Assembly in the Western Region are yet to get drivers license school from investors. 



The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Frank Okpanyile, who disclosed this,  Said as a result of the DVLA office established in Nzema East some investors had decided to build a driver license school within the municipal to train drivers.

He disclosed that, under the free SHS initiative about 3,242 students have benefited.

Mr. Okpanyle, who was speaking with our reporter Nana Yaa Egudze after meet-the-press session, said under the Planting for food and Jobs initiative, they have acquired 10,000 coconut seedlings and are being supplied to Farmers for free.

He mentioned, with the Planting for food and rural development, the municipal assembly has supply about 250,000 Coco seedlings to Farmers.

 He stated, with the help of the government, the Nzema East municipal assembly have been able to donate 5 motorbikes to agric extension officers for monitoring and Education.

He however mentioned some of the developmental project in the Nzema East Municipality.




Mr. Frank Okpanyle,  stressed the need for the people to participate in the December 17 district and unit committee level elections and the referendum to ensure that the district elections assume a partisan spirit.
